Welcome to the 30th annual meeting of the Human Behavior and Evolution Society!

The plenary talk by Toby Kiers will take place on Thursday (5 July 2018) at 16:10. There will be no morning plenary session that day.

HBES is an interdisciplinary organization dedicated to using evolutionary theory to enrich our understanding of human behavior. The membership includes researchers from a range of disciplines in the social, behavioral, and biological sciences.

The 30th annual conference will be held July 4th to July 7th, 2018 at the University of Amsterdam. It will feature a key-note from Frans de Waal and plenary talks from Daniel Fessler, Patricia H. Hawley, Henkjan Honing, Toby Kiers, Ruth Mace, Thom Scott-Phillips, and Nancy Segal.
