CONFERENCE HOTEL: This year’s conference will be held at the Westin Bayshore Hotel (a Starwood hotel partner), located on the harbor in Downtown Vancouver: 1601 Bayshore Dr Vancouver BC V6G2V4 Canada. The location is easily accessibly from the international airport (YVR) and is somewhat central to the outlying Colleges and Universities.
The block of rooms for HBES at the Westin Bayshore is now sold out.
OTHER LODGING: Downtown Vancouver has over 100 hotels. Search around and compare, but many of the rates are going up. We get a better group rate if a number of people all stay at the same hotel so we have secured a number of rooms at two different hotels:

A bit closer to the conference hotel, but a more expensive hotel. Both are great locations and other conference members will be staying in the same locations.
Airbnb prices for the week of the conference range from $107 and up (for non-shared accommodations) with an average price of $198 CDN. Again, these will book up fast and prices will climb as the summer approaches so book early!
