Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the Psychology of Antisemitism
The Department of Psychology at Arizona State University invites applications for a Postdoctoral Scholar to research contemporary antisemitism. The position is full-time (100% research), fiscal-year (12-month), benefits-eligible appointments with no tenure implications. Salary range is $62,232 – $75,564 depending on years of previous experience (following NIH postdoctoral salary standards). The anticipated start date is January 12, 2026, but can be flexible if needed.
The Postdoctoral Scholar will be based in the laboratory of Dr. Steven Neuberg and supervised by Drs. Steven Neuberg and Michael Barlev. The laboratory integrates social-cognitive frameworks with evolutionary theory and behavioral ecology to better understand a wide range of phenomena, including stereotyping and prejudices, impression formation, perceptions of threats and opportunities, motivated social-cognitive reasoning, and the effects of physical and social ecologies on perception and behavior.
