UCLA’s new Ph.D. Program in Communication is now accepting applications for its first class starting in Fall 2020!

UCLA’s new Ph.D. Program in Communication will offer students rigorous interdisciplinary training from world-renowned faculty at the forefront of communication research. The program will center on three main areas of study: Communication and Cognition, Computational Communication, and Political Communication.

Assistant Professor of Social Psychology opening at VU Amsterdam

The social psychology group at the VU Amsterdam is hiring an Assistant Professor (for five years).  The application deadline is 31 December 2019. Research faculty includes Daniel Balliet, Francesca Righetti, Jellie Sierksma, Josh Tybur, Jan Willem van Prooijen, and Paul Van Lange.

This position is within the research program in the Social Psychology section which adopts a strong interdisciplinary and international orientation to research, theory, and methods. We are searching for a candidate whose research focuses on psychological, economic, and evolutionary perspectives on social interactions, including trust and cooperation, between individuals and groups. The section is particularly interested in expanding their expertise in the direction of using agent-based modeling and simulations to study human cooperation.
