Reader/Prof in Psychology at Brunel, UK

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Division of Psychology to recruit a highly motivated academic who will provide major academic leadership for the newly established Centre for Culture and Evolution (CCE). http://www.jobs.ac.uk/job/AOQ475/reader-professor-psychology/

The successful candidate will have a PhD in a relevant discipline, and will be expected to lead and build the research profile of the CCE – augmenting our current strengths in these areas, enhancing our international research profile, and providing leadership/mentorship for junior academics. Importantly, it should significantly enhance the CCE’s potential to secure research income.

The post holder is also expected to provide high quality research-based teaching in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, and to undertake lead/management roles not only within the CCE and the Division of Psychology, but also the Department of Life Sciences as well as the College of Health and Life Sciences.
